Loss at Lent

It's been a crazy day today. Still trying to come to grips with the loss of a precious life. Thankful to honor his memory and celebrate his life. Praying for God's comfort and peace! One week is just the beginning of losing a loved one, but having family and friends to support you is so crucial. In many ways the further I move beyond my Dad's death the harder it is to find comfort and hope in the midst of loss. The pain and hurt can be absolutely overwhelming...yet there is a real understanding of our need for God in these difficult days.
