Walter Shurden often talks about (classroom, books, and conversations) the DNA of Baptists being the natural inclination for fighting. I believe he even refers to us Baptist's as "the battling Baptists". It seems we always need something to fight about and pick apart. I will let you decide if you think the 2011 edition of the NIV is worth your time and money.
