Challenging thoughts for the future of ministry and ministry training as the more and more churches are shifting their view of seminary and more and more seminaries are continuing to be bent towards the needs of the academy.

Now THAT was a great article! There have been countless conversations about this very thing among my peers and me here. I'm going into Christian Education and while I feel the seminary has done its job in that realm, I still feel that they could be doing more. GCTS is known as the Harvard of seminaries and I think sometimes they pride themselves more on academia than Biblical knowledge. But that's just my opinion. I've loved my time here, but definitely agree w/what this guy is saying. Thanks for sharing.
ps James Emery White is a GCTS prof in Charlotte ;)
